DES Community Service Club helping make wishes come true

Dec. 6, 2016

Help the Duanesburg Elementary School Community Service Club and Make-A-Wish Northeast New York bring happiness to area children by making a $1 donation for an Adopt-A-Wish star ornament from Dec. 5-16. Each ornament tells a story of a child with a life-threatening medical condition who has had a wish granted by Make-A-Wish.

Make-A-Wish Northeast New York serves the 15 counties that comprise the 518 area code and is a local chapter of Make-A-Wish America. The Adopt-A-Wish campaign is Make-A-Wish's largest fundraiser and enables the organization to grant a significant number of wishes for area children.

Adopt-A-Wish star ornaments are also offered at Duanesburg Jr./Sr. High School, where Wish Ambassador Jacob Galvin is in 7th grade. READ HIS STORY
