H.S. safe to enter; alarm was technical error

Jan. 12, 2018

A fire alarm in the high school sounded this morning before the school day was to begin. While the fire department responded to investigate, all students were held on buses at the high school, including those who had been dropped off, to keep them safe and dry. This also delayed arrival of elementary students at their school.

No smoke or flames were present, and the fire department believes the alarm was a technical error.  After the fire department determined the high school as being safe to enter, students were able to continue on their way to their respective classes and schools.
