Duane Players to present "The Wizard of Oz" in new auditorium students rehearse on stage in costume for "The Wizard of Oz"

April 23, 2018, updated 4/24, 4/25

An exciting announcement from the Duane Players, courtesy of DCS student Molly Todd:

After what could be the longest season in their history, the Duane Players are ready to entertain the public. The production this year is the widely known “The Wizard of Oz,” RSC (movie) version, by Frank Baum with music and lyrics by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg.

It truly will be a show to see! All of the members of the cast and crew have had such a great attitude and worked hard through this season. They are ready to put on the first show ever in Duanesburg Central School’s new auditorium! Make sure you come see them.

There will be just two performances: April 28 at 7 p.m. and April 29 at 2 p.m. You won’t want to miss the start of a new chapter in Duanesburg history! Tickets will be sold at the door for $10 general admission. Come support our DCS Duane Players. “There is no place like home!”

Plenty of seats!

Our new auditorium is open, with 340 telescopic seats are ready for use and some additional seating. We are waiting for seats that will be attached to the slope - but this won't stop our students from putting on the inaugural performance. Come see The Wizard of Oz, April 28 at 7 p.m. and April 29 at 2 p.m. General admission is $10 at the door.
