Third graders searched for crayfish in June at Five Rivers Environmental Education Center in Delmar, which is named for the rivers in the area's watershed: the Hudson, Mohawk, Hoosic and Sacandaga rivers and the Schoharie Creek. That's a lot of crayfish and lots of fun learning.

"The students had a great time learning about ecosystems, habitats and erosion," teacher Nancy Lyons said.
