The Duanesburg Central School District has put in place a new COVID-19 diagnostic and screening program that includes a consent form for parents to sign allowing their child(ren) to be tested.
The district is seeking parental permission for two types of FREE COVID-19 tests that will be used in Schenectady County schools during the 2021-2022 school year. One is a shallow nostril swab and the other is a saliva swab. Both are painless, and both will be administered by professional health care officials.
Though we are encouraging everyone to participate in this free and convenient service regardless of vaccination status, unvaccinated athletes and staff members are required to participate.
