Dear DCS Community,
As you know, DES principal Andrea Conover has announced her retirement at the end of this current school year. The district is seeking input from families and other community members on their priorities in selecting a new principal for Duanesburg Elementary School, and we’d like to let you know how you can share your thoughts with us.

While this survey is not completely anonymous, please know that Superintendent Kimberly Ross is the only person who will see your responses. Information gathered in the survey will be condensed into an anonymous summary and provided to members of the panels who will be interviewing principal candidates. A similar survey was sent to DCS teachers and staff members. Both surveys will close on THURSDAY, APRIL 24.

Interviews of candidates starting at 4 p.m. (dinner will be provided) - Thursday, May 15:
Post-interview debriefing at 3:15 p.m. in the ES library
Lastly, the community is invited to participate in a Community Feedback Forum on the DES Principal search at 6 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23, ahead of the district’s regular monthly Board of Education meeting at 6:30 p.m. in Joe Bena Hall. Superintendent Ross will provide an update on the search and provide a timeline for important upcoming steps in the search process.
