As previously mentioned at the Tuesday, March 12 BOE meeting, DCS has one day to give back to staff and students since we did not use all of our allotted snow days. The original school calendar had Thursday, March 28 as that tentative day, however, the district has decided to use the additional “snow day” on MONDAY, APRIL 8.
This day off will coincide with the much talked about total solar eclipse that is scheduled to be visible in upstate NY.
As a reminder, DCS Spring Break will start on Friday, March 29 and now go through Monday, April 8. School will resume on Tuesday, April 9.
